Fundraising Idea Spotlight - Dessert Extravaganza

What better way to get people out into the weather than
to entice them with food. And not just any food, but
delicious desserts from a variety of recipes.

You can offer a welcomed and profitable event with
your own Dessert Extravaganza fundraiser.
Your nonprofit organization can expect to generate both
profit and good will at the same time that you add
new contributors.

The trick is to locate chefs, bakeries and
restaurants at least six months prior to your planned date.
Securing a variety of desserts will be your most crucial
factor in putting on a successful event that will make
your group sparkle.

You will want to guarantee that each supporter will be able
to sample a wide selection of fine desserts. Plan for a
charge of $15 (or $35 for a more upscale event) and aim for
200 to 400 people to attend.

You will also raise funds through your own silent auction
onsite and from money generated from advertisements
placed in your event program book.

Your aim is not to make huge profits; rather, to attract
new contributors that you probably never had before. If
you make their outing a pleasant one, then they will be
more apt to spread the word about your group and will
probably give to you again and again during the year and
in larger amounts too.

Product Focus - Ouch Pack!

Sometimes it makes more sense to sell many low cost
items for less than to sell a few high priced items that
may only net limited sales. Maybe that's why candy bars
and gum have made candy manufacturers mega bucks.

Today, we will not focus on candy sales, but rather a very
needed product for us frail and accident prone humans.
For every cut and scrape we get, we will need to seek
immediate first-aid. Especially, with the bacteria and
other undesireable germs that occur all around us daily.

That's where the Ouch Pack! comes in handy. It provides
an immediate need for taking care of that unexpected
"boo! boo!"

It is also handy on the pocketbook. At just $2.00 each,
practically anyone can afford it. There's no money down for
getting started. And even better, your group gets a 50%
commission for making this minature first-aid pack available.

Check out the Ouch Pack! fundraiser here.
