Fundraising Spotlight - Gift Sales Fundraisers

Practically anytime of the year is a great time for gift
sales. That's why Profit Quests is proud to offer some of
the finest gifts and collectibles from the World Of Products
collection.

The World Of Products fundraising program offers over 3,000
items for you to offer your supporters. You may want to see
a selection of some of these gifts at GiftQuests.com.

This program can be conducted as a Team Sales Campaign where
you select teams with specific goals and they go out and show
the complete line of gifts in your catalog.

Your group may also set up a "fair" which allows for your
supporters to come by a booth set up at your organization
and choose from samples that you have set up for display.

One of our fundraising partners HarvestMoonGifts.com
can help any group set up a Gift Fair with very little effort
on your part. Harvest Moon has extensive experience and are
extremely successful in this type of fundraising operation.

As usual, we look for high profit potential and this program
allows your organization to get a fantastic 25% back from
all sales made. You'll find that this fundraising program
requires far less effort than it would take to sell candy
bars and generate the same funds needed.

Nothing could be easier. Get your team Gift Sales Fundraiser
Campaign started now with the World Of Products Fundraiser.

Are you an individual raising money for your favorite
charity or cause? Perhaps you are an individual with your
own personal ministry or newly founded nonprofit organization.
If so, get the World Of Products for individuals here.

Resources - A FREE Fundraising Magazine Archive

You need to know about a great little resource for small
nonprofit organizations. It's perfect for new staff that
may have little or no fundraising experience. It's also
free to you and you don't have to sign up or give out any
information about who you are.

The Grantsmanship Center Magazine is a great resource for
groups that must manage a funding strategy. You'll find
articles on:
* Whether you should become a 501(c)(3) organization.
* Grant tracking and designing
* Government Funding
* Secrets To Grantmaking Success
* Internet Fundraising Issues
* Starting A Nonprofit Business Venture
* Nonprofit Law

I personally could spend hours at their site just catching
up on some good tips. Let us know what you think.

Product Focus - The Smart Bookmark

I'm so excited about this fundraiser since it involves books
I love books. Well, I love them when I have the time to read
them. My wife on the other hand can read a full novel in a
couple of days.

Anyway, this fundraising product is called The Smart Bookmark
and it's one of the easiest sellers that I've seen. You will
also have the availability to imprint your name, phone number
and website address on them to get greater visibility for
your group.

Rest assured that its greatest potential is not in the initial
sale as a fundraiser (although this is certainly fantastic),
but mainly in it's ability to constantly remind your
supporters that you are worthy of their attention. This
occurs each time a reader moves the Smart Bookmark to
mark their place and they see your groups name.

This is not a free fundraiser since you must first buy the
bookmarks at an extremely low cost of $1.45 per set of two
and then mark them up to the retail value of $2.95. You
make 50% on each sale. Custom imprinted orders have a
minimum order of 1,000 and the pre-printed bookmarks have
a minimum order of 250.

These same bookmarks are being sold at Barnes and Noble
and Books-A-Million, and elsewhere. They are selling like
hotcakes so don't miss out.

These are perfect for Chambers Of Commerce, Universities,
library auxilliaries, hospitals, community projects, scouts,
political campaigns, United Way's, high school groups and
elementary schools PTA's or PTO's.

Be smart too and take a look at The Smart Bookmark here.

Book Review - Reinventing Fundraising:
Realizing the Potential of Women's Philanthropy

Most of the readers of Profit Quests Fundraising Weekly are
women. That's why we are especially thrilled to have found
this book by Authors Sondra C. Shaw and Martha Taylor that
looks at the issue of women in philanthropy.

They have done an excellent job of taking the often overlooked
influences that women have in the nonprofit world and explain
practical ways to engage these women contributors.

They have delved into the causes of this oversight among
nonprofits and what motivates women philanthropists to
contribute.

The authors also give solid ideas into training women
volunteers to solicit major gifts from both men and women.

By reading this book you will get some insight into how you
can also tap into the major gifts from women philanthropists.
See how to invest more attention toward women donors at
Reinventing Fundraising: Realizing the Potential of Women's Philanthropy.
