Editor's Note - Unique Fundraisers
Let me be the first to wish you a Happy New Year. I certainly appreciate you and all of those that are a part of the Profit Quests Fundraising News family.
I have been focusing on slightly unusual fundraising products and programs that are easy and unique. Especially those which have little or no start up costs.
They are not the end-all of fundraisers, but rather they are being offered as a supplement to your normal fundraising.
Think about these funding sources working quietly in the background bringing in funds each month, even in the slow months. Multiple income streams is what every nonprofit group needs to focus on.
Two of these were created specifically for the Profit Quests Family. And yes, I think of my subscribers and the website users as part of our family. That's you!
First, I'm talking about AllBizSupplies.com. I have a more complete discussion of this in our article below. This is a painless way to raise funds successfully.
The other is BestTalkPlan.com. This Affiliate Program has no sign up costs and brings in funds each and every month.
Get both of these and start raising additional funds now.

When Christmas is through, what do you do with the old Christmas tree? You might be required to recycle it at your city landfill.
Disposing of an old Christmas tree becomes a big hassle for most people. Sometimes they are required to haul it themselves to a recycling area miles away.
They also remember the mess of those dry needles that fall into their car backend or truck. What a mess.
Why not help your neighbors and your organization take care of old trees. You can expect to make a profit of $5 to $15 per tree. With a few trucks that you've secured and some helpers, you can expect to stuff your stockings this winter with cold hard cash.
Fundraising Software - Start The Year With eTapestry
Let me offer you a gift during this holiday season. Your gift is perfect for your nonprofit and will get you prepared to start your year off right. It's a fundraising software package that's free for the first 500 donors.
This is not a demo version. It's a fully functional software program that is accessible online. It gives you access to your donor records anytime and anywhere.
We've all heard of customer service, but rarely do some nonprofits think of "customer service" for their supporters. This free software package from eTapestry is geared to helping you provide better customer service to your contributors.
It's jam-packed with features that will help you track all of your donations and will allow you to even take credit card donations on your website and add the donation seamlessly into your donor records.
eTapestry provides the ability to enter accounts, enter gifts, create thank you letters, generate direct mail pieces, use mass e-mail, keep tabs of contacts made, create calendar items, and create a wide variety of reports to help you monitor your successes.

I've been focusing on a fantastic fundraising concept that will bring in monthly income for your nonprofit organization, group or ministry. It's called AllBizSupplies.com.
First I want you to do your nonprofit group a favor and sign up as a customer. You're going to save big on your own personal office supplies. You'll also get free next day delivery on orders over $40 if in by 1:30 pm.
You have access to over 30,000 items from pens to furniture. You'll also get 10% to 40% off the prices of the 0ffice supply superstores. This is good stewardship of the money donated to your organization.
Once you're a customer and see the excellent customer service for yourself, you'll then want to tell your board members and supporters. They'll want to save big on their office supplies and would be happy that a portion of their purchase goes back to your group.
We've slashed the costs on these office supplies to help you save big first of all, and with what we've got left we're giving you a fantastic 3% back from all those that were referred by your group and even on your own purchases to lower your already low costs further.
Remember, this 3% is on every sale, each month for as long as you and your supporters associate with us. There is no cut off dates, minimum purchases, limits or anything to hold you back. This could add up over a period of months or years.
BestTalkPlan.com is offering you a fantastic opportunity to start your own online business for free. That's right. FREE! Sign up for your free business here.
Book Review – Creating Congregations of Generous People (Money, Faith, and Lifestyle Series)
If you are a part of a ministry or church congregation, this book will really inspire you and cause you to look at giving in a different light.
Michael Durall has put his finger on areas that need to be addressed in fundraisers for congregations of all sizes. The price is good too -- just $13.95.
The big concept that I took from this book was its ability in creating a generous spirit in each member. This in turn brings forth an avalance of giving to even the hardest areas like providing for a church stewardship program, ordinary budgetary programs and annual giving.
There are lots of tips and step-by-step type techniques that will get the old cranium thinking up more ideas than you can fill an offering plate with. It will change your way of giving perhaps, so be prepared.
