Fundraising Idea Spotlight - Biscuits And Bagels
Food! Food! Food! Everybody loves food. How about making
money by starting your supporters off early with a good
breakfast. Not your typical pancake breakfast mind you, but
a hearty selection of biscuits and bagels.
Think of how quick and easy it would be to scramble a few
eggs fry a little bacon and sausage, and bake a few biscuits
and bagels. Put them together, and you have a popular "on
the go" breakfast as good a McDonald's. Offer coffee, orange
juice, grape juice, cranberry juice, and milk and you have
more money coming in for your own Biscuits and Bagels
Breakfast Bonanza.
Sell your breakfasts ahead of time. Create a colorful
brochure using a popular word processing software program.
Include an order form in the same brochure and go out and
start selling.
Imagine that you have 10 members in your group. Each can
easily sell 20 breakfasts at roughly $4.00 each. You could
easily earn $800.00 and probably ten times that amount if
your members got really aggressive.
Plan to deliver your breakfasts or plan a day and location
for people to stop in and pick up their order. Sell a
large office building one day then go down the road to
